Some useful
notes on using SDR# software
A nice way to always have a working solution of the many different SdrSharp
versions is to put them in their own subdirectories with shortcuts to
each as some old plugin's won't work with the newer versions.
That way you will always have a version to run some specific plugin. An
with lots of cheap disk storage lots of version isn't a major problem.
You can also run different versions of SdrSharp at the same time this
way, if needed.
jdow on groups.io: I have a couple
dozen versions ready to run when I want. I don't use them often. They're
just there in case I want to go way back. Each time I download a new version
I create two copies of it. One I leave unchanged. I copy a full set of
.config files into the other from the rolling install I have. Then I delete
rolling install and rename the updated copy to plain "sdrsharp".
Every once and awhile this doesn't work and I have to copy the newly installed
config files into the rolling install and play with settings until I like
it again.
